Industrial Training Institute
This Institute offers courses for students in three industrial trades viz machine fitting, welding, and electronic mechanical courses. The objective of offering these courses to rural youth is to impart skilled training with appropriate facilities for harnessing their skills in practical industrial training. The course is of two years duration and students of all above courses take examination conducted by Government of India's National Council for Vocational Training and certified accordingly. The placement wing of the organization has successfully placed them in various industries. During last three years, totally 148 students have been benefited by successfully passing out of all these three courses.
Motor Driving Training Institute
To increase the livelihood opportunities and also to provide professional training in motor driving skills, this institute has been setup by the organization for training youth on motor driving of four-wheeler and three wheeler. Apart from the practical training, theory and traffic rules were taught to the trainees. After successful completion of the training they are helped to procure licenses from RTO and secure jobs or to start their own independent careers. In this 2010-11, 30 trainees were trained in four wheeler and 30 trainees in three wheelers.
Tailoring Training Institute
Considering booming garment industry in and around Bangalore, in last 3 years, nearly 150 women have been trained in tailoring skills. The women are taught skills like preparing the fabric, stitching etc with the sole intension of providing skill training to them so that, they would become self reliant in terms of economic position and support their respective families. The women are trained in stitching blouses, rompers, shirts, and chudidars. They were also helped to find a placement in booming garment factories or arranged bank loans to start their own venture.
